Craig Serani Marsh, known professionally as SERANI, was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and began his musical journey when his mother gave him a melodica, the “blow organ” popularized by Reggae legend AUGUSTUS PABLO. “I’ve been a musician since birth basically”, he says. “Growing up, I saw the guitar and piano on TV and asked my mama what’s that. I’ve just been drawn to it ever since.” After a successful production career in the mid-2000’s, producing hits for SEAN PAUL, TONY MATTERHORN, MAVADO & more, SERANIdecided to enter the booth and record his own songs: After an explosive debut with the hit “Dying” on which he featured with MAVADO, SERANI went on to build a solid solo career. It wasn't long before he struck gold on his own as an artist with the timeless Dancehall classic “No Games”, his biggest hit to date. It landed on the BILLBOARD HOT RNB / HIPHOP CHARTS and led to him signing to UNIVERSAL / REPUBLIC RECORDS before settling into a joint venture with PHASE ONE NETWORK, a New York-based label. To this day “No Games” is a constant on US mainstream radio in clubs, on iTunes charts and Spotify playlists.
