After the successful career with Banton & Ghetto, Daddy Banton decided to launch his solo career in 2007. 2 international tours last year lead him to the United States and Europe where he worked lots of European artistes and producers like Ill Inspecta, Cali P, Refugee All- Star Sound, Ruffpack International, Pionear (Germaica), Chulito Camacho (Kinky Music)...

He shared the stage with artistes like Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Bounty Killer, Movado or Matterhorn. Features with his Bredrin Kafu Banton from Panama, Sean Paul, Cecile or Aldo Ranks prove his killer instinct when it comes to "Rhythm & Flow" whether in Spanish or in English.

All of this made him set new goals for himself culminating in the recordings for his first solo album to be released in 2009. The album will be produced in Costa Rica and Jamaica and released as a joint venture between his management company Top A Top Prod. (Costa Rica) and Dangerzone Prod. (USA/Jamaica).

The prospect for his European career also looks bright since in the coming months there will be releases for local producers. Also this fall he starts to record his first album for Europe.
