Shabu is an uprising spanish artist from Malaga who already reached the Myspace TOP 10 for Reggae, Hip Hop and Soul in Spain.

Currently he is about to reach 500.000 visits with an average of almost 1000 hits per day on his player. His breakthrough came longside spanish guitar player "El nino de la Guitarra" after releasing a couple of homemade acoustic videoclips.

The street album “Luz Verde” has been the latest release from Shabu. It's focused mainly on Hip Hop and Reggae, since it comes by the hand of top spanish producer Big Hozone. Basically it consists of 9 tunes sung from the soul, it also counts with a combination featuring Capaz, who is a member of "Hablando en Plata Squad", a big spanish Hip Hop act.

Shabu was quite successfull with this promotional album, therefore he did a nice Spanish tour, performing three of the gigs with The Germaicans Backing Band (directed/owned by Pionear from Germaican Records). Recently a free download of one of those gigs (the one they did in Madrid at Sala Caracol) has been released.

Shabu is a very talented and versatile artist who is able to play all kind/types of music, because of that he already recorded with most of the big ones in the Spanish Hip Hop and Reggae scene like Morodo, Hablando en Plata Squad, Triple XXX, Hermano Ele, Keyo and many more.

In the meantime he also voiced a couple of tunes for the European market in collaboration with big name producers such as Peter Fox (Seeed), Pionear (Germaican Records), House of Riddim, Macro Marco (Gramigna)...

Nowadays he has just released his first official album. It has come in form of a split album together with Little Pepe, his collegue from Pinnacle Rockers, and it has been launched by Germaica Iberia (the newly created sub-label of Germaican Records).
